What are we looking for?
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Category Purchasing Manager for our Matosinhos hub.
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure procurement and purchasing activities;
- Manage purchase planning by purchase category;
- Conduct prospecting, qualification, and evaluation of new suppliers;
- Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers on various variables, including prices, deadlines, requirements, and contractual conditions;
- Develop negotiation and procurement strategies focused on the continuous search for new solutions and partners, aiming to optimize the total cost of ownership;
- Responsible for the communication and hierarchical reporting of the progress and results of purchasing processes.
Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Management/Electrotechnics/Mechanical or similar fields;
- 6 to 8 years of experience in similar roles;
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Knowledge of ERPs (SAP);
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI);
- Strong orientation towards results and processes;
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes;
- Dynamism, proactivity, and team spirit;
- Problem-solving skills and resilience.
